Unlocking growth: a scale-up manifesto for LondonNovember 9, 2015
The new Mayor of London will take office in May 2016 and already the candidates and officers at the Greater London Authority (GLA) are thinking about how to best create job opportunities for Londoners. The tech and creative sectors have seen higher growth in recent years compared with London’s economy as a whole, therefore unlocking their potential has to be an economic development priority for the new Mayor.
Working with EY, our members and partners we organised a series of events over the last six months and asked the creative and tech sectors what they thought the issues were. We have set out what the candidates need to be thinking about to support growth in London’s tech and creative sectors.
