Tube PPP report – London First responseJanuary 9, 2009
London Underground today published its annual Tube Public Private Partnership (PPP) report.
Baroness Jo Valentine, Chief Executive of London First, said:
“Our members are pleased to see the improvements Tube Lines has brought to bear on the Northern Line. But the success of the PPP as a whole is at risk if we can’t monitor the performance of Metronet, now it is out of sight within Transport for London. The independent PPP Arbiter should assure Londoners that the mistakes of Metronet won’t be repeated.”
