Security and Resilience Network

London First’s assistance in running a mentoring scheme for senior police and business leaders to help achieve this helps us create a safer and stronger London

Bernard Hogan-Howe
Commissioner, Metropolitan Police

London First’s Security and Resilience Network is the capital’s leading membership organisation that campaigns for initiatives and practical measures that will help London maintain its position as a safe, secure and resilient World City. The Network provides a unique, neutral forum for a public-private dialogue on security and resilience issues without compromise from any particular sector and with any product to promote, but with members’ interests in the prime position.

With London First members representing over a quarter of London’s GDP, it is London’s most influential business organisation.

Our Focus

Our objectives are fourfold:

  • Promote best practice in resilience planning to safeguard London’s global competitiveness
  • Encourage innovation through collaboration between a wide range of security disciplines
  • Improve organisational effectiveness by sharing leadership and management expertise
  • Improve communication by acting as a key conduit for information sharing between business and the security and policing services.

Our multi-disciplinary network brings together world experts in security, counter-terrorism, resilience, business continuity and policing. It is supported by the Metropolitan Police, City of London Police, British Transport Police and the Home Office.

The benefits are:
