Evening Standard 3 April 2013: Theresa May promises speedier visa service for Chinese

As a proponent and co-founder of the UK China Visa Alliance (UKCVA), set-up in late 2012, London First welcomes the Home Secretary’s announcement and looks forward to seeing tangible improvements to the existing application process.

Recent research from the New West End Company revealed that Britain is currently losing £1.2 billion of tourism spending from Chinese visitors and, without intervention, this figure is forecast to increase to £3.1 billion by 2020.
