GLA London Infrastructure Plan 2050 – deadline looming

At the end of July, the Mayor of London published in draft his trillion pound 2050 Infrastructure Plan, detailing his ambitions for future infrastructure investment to allow the capital to continue to operate efficiently and successfully during a time of unprecedented population growth.

At a recent event with London First members, Jeremy Skinner of the GLA presented the Plan’s main conclusions and invited businesses to respond to the consultation – you can now view a copy of the presentation.

London First has welcomed the Plan as a significant step forward in London’s capability to plan effectively for its future growth. The consultation closes on 31 October 2014, with the GLA intending to publish a final report in early 2015.

London First will be responding to the consultation and welcomes views and contributions from members. If you would like the opportunity to comment on our draft response, or would like to discuss these issues further please contact David Leam, our Infrastructure Director.
