London First breakfast briefing: Join our mission on skills
London First is on a mission to address the capital’s skills gap. We’re working to bring business expertise to the table in a coordinated approach with Whitehall, City Hall, education and training providers, to equip the next generation of London’s workforce.
The briefing will present the latest findings from Deloitte and our London Skills and Employment Commission on the future of London’s skills needs, there will also be a unique opportunity to engage with young Londoners at one of the country’s highest performing state schools, King Solomon Academy. John Allan, Chairman London First, Barratt Homes and Tesco will lead the discussion. We also look forward to hearing from Angus Knowles Cutler, Vice Chairman Deloitte, Amanda Timberg, Head of Staffing Programmes EMEA, Google and Lucy Heller, CEO of the highly successful Ark Academies group.
Find out what business is already doing to bridge the skills gap, and further opportunities to get involved at Skills London, the UK’s largest jobs and skills event.
