Crossrail planning charges – commentMay 18, 2009
London First welcomed the Mayor’s proposed revisions to Crossrail planning charges, announced today.
Judith Salomon, London First Director of Planning and Development, said:
“We have held extensive dialogue with advisors and officers at City Hall on this issue and welcome the changes the Mayor has made, particularly the commitment to consider the impact of the charge on viability of a development. We remain concerned however that the charge, focused on central London offices, could still delay economic recovery if not sensitively applied.”
