Comment on the Transport Committee PPP update (25 Mar 2010)March 25, 2010
Commenting on the Transport Committee report – Update on the London Underground and the public-private (PPP) partnership agreements – Baroness Jo Valentine, Chief Executive of London First, said:
“London’s economy needs the Tube to work better. All public spending will come under greater scrutiny, so more comparability and transparency will help secure this vital project.
“Rather than locking horns like rutting stags, Boris and Tube Lines should heed the committee’s recommendations and find a way of working together and concentrate on delivering the vital tube modernisation.”
